You're about to spend the day exploring over 25 porches, discovering 65+ bands and artists, and wandering one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in the Hudson Valley. Here's how to make the most of it!

👟 Comfortable Walking Shoes
You'll be covering a lot of ground. Nyack is walkable, but your feet will thank you.

🛒 A Folding Wagon or Cart (Highly Recommended!)
Trust us on this one. Pack a couple of folding chairs, a blanket, water, snacks, sunscreen, and anything else you'll want throughout the day. The big wheels make it easy to roll over sidewalks and curbs, and you'll wonder how you ever did a Porchfest without one.

🪑 Folding Chairs or a Blanket
Some performances will fill up quickly. Having your own seat lets you settle in and enjoy the music.

💵 Cash (and maybe Venmo!)
Many musicians will have tip jars and merchandise. Show them some love—they're what make this festival possible.

☀️ Sunscreen, Hat & Sunglasses
You'll be outdoors for much of the day. Even in cooler weather, the sun adds up.

💧 Reusable Water Bottle
Stay hydrated! We'll have free bottled water available while supplies last, but bringing your own bottle is always a good idea.

📱 Your Phone
Take photos, shoot videos, and share your favorite moments! Tag @NyackNeighborhoodMusicAndArtsFestival so we can see your festival adventure.

🔋 Portable Phone Charger
Between taking pictures, checking the online map, and texting friends, your battery may not last all day.

📍 Use the Online Festival Map
Our interactive map will show every porch, artist, performance time, and more, making it easy to plan your own musical adventure.

🎵 Explore!
Don't be afraid to wander. Some of the best discoveries happen when you hear music coming from a porch you weren't planning to visit.

🍔 Support Local Restaurants & Businesses
Nyack has fantastic restaurants, cafés, breweries, and shops. Grab lunch, take a break, and support the businesses that make this community special.

Please use legal street parking throughout the village and pay attention to parking regulations.

🚫 Do not block driveways, intersections, fire hydrants, or crosswalks.

If you're able, consider parking a little farther away and walking into the festival.

❌ Glass containers

❌ Alcohol (Open container laws apply.)

❌ Anything that could damage private property or disturb the neighborhood.

This festival happens because dozens of homeowners open their porches and hundreds of musicians donate their talent to create something special for the community.

Please respect our hosts, neighbors, volunteers, and fellow festival-goers.

🗑️ Pack It In. Pack It Out.
Use trash cans when available or take your trash home with you.

👏 Tip the musicians.

😊 Thank the porch hosts.

🎶 Discover a new favorite band.

Most of all... relax, wander, and enjoy a day where the entire neighborhood becomes one giant stage.
